All that we are and do as part of God’s covenant community is uniquely and carefully defined in the exclusive body of truth called the Word of God.
But what are those truths? Which ones are the most essential? Down through church history, there have been a number of documents called creeds and confessions that were developed for the sole purpose of concisely compiling these essential truths so that the true church could understand them and live by them.
The Bible Fellowship Church denomination has also provided such a document outlining what they believe to be those essential truths, and that document is called the Articles of Faith. In this class, we will look carefully at this document, and see most importantly how it is aligned with scripture.
Each of our Adult Elective Teachers will take a turn teaching by presenting the Article and its biblical foundation, followed by an interactive discussion and question time. Please join us in the gym this summer for this exciting 13-part class!
