Dallas Theological Seminary presents their new free online course on the Book of Acts (https://courses NULL.dts NULL.edu/register/acts/?utm_source=housefile&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=acts&utm_content=housefileemail&_hsenc=p2ANqtz-8DGeUR1_oKEvCH3aN6oScs_NEBtfSCL_w-Ru6OkO0hAxgjabfaqGtawNw5jx34ISQBYbAkSYd6_GOCyD5NXK4WNkQz0w&_hsmi=71973279), taught in five video lectures by Dr. Mark Yarbrough. This is the perfect study to begin right after celebrating Jesus’s resurrection. Christ’s death and resurrection changed the course of history. In this online course, you will learn how this event ignited the men and women of the early church. The Book of Acts, written by Luke, is an extension of Luke’s Gospel narrative. It picks up right after Jesus’s resurrection and follows the history of the early church in the first century, describing their initial struggles as well as their successes for the kingdom of God. Acts is where we learn about Paul’s missionary journeys throughout the Mediterranean, about the sharing of the gospel with Gentiles, and about some of the persecution the church faces as Christianity spreads. The safety team would like to identify members of the congregation who have training in emergency medical care or medical training. The purpose of this identification is to assist leaders, ushers, and security team members with locating you during an incident when someone is in need of medical assistance. This is not to bypass contacting on-duty emergency medical personnel, but rather to assist in incidents when they may not be needed or until they are able to arrive. All that is needed is a simple photograph and your contact information. Please contact Blake Kuntz (blakedk84 null@null yahoo NULL.com) (484-201-3566) if you are willing to provide your information. Thank you!

The early church was a powerful church because they prayed. Instead of being driven by programs, we want to be empowered through prayer. This is why the elders have planned four prayer services throughout this year. We desire more than anything to have the favor & power of the Lord in all our ministries and in the lives of our families. We therefore encourage every attendee of Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church to set aside the four 5th Sundays of 2019, 6-7pm, to gather and pray. No childcare provided, but the Nursery room will be open for any parents who would like to go in with their children.
