Meet Our Speakers:

Dr. Jim Arcieri began his ministry as a church planter in Suffolk, VA. After serving as a headmaster for a Christian school and administrator, he moved up to Red Hill, PA in 2009 where he pastored Community Bible Fellowship Church and served on the BFC Board of Church Extension until 2021. He currently serves on the board of Missio Seminary, the BFC Church Health Committee, and most recently has become the Director of the Bible Fellowship Church Board of Missions. This Board oversees the BFC’s passion for world evangelism which includes qualifying mission applicants, missionary care, directing financial contributions to career missionaries, encouraging short-term missions, and providing training for these trips. Jim has been married to his wife, Vicki, for 38 years and has three adult children and three grandchildren.

Luke Raughley is a missionary with World Impact serving in Newark, NJ. World Impact empowers urban leaders and partners with local churches to reach their cities with the gospel. Luke’s passion to see the church grow and thrive as God intends is embodied by his role as a Dean of the Evangel School of Church Planting and as an Evangel School of Church Planting Coach. After over 20 years of ministry, he has seen the need for trained leaders firsthand, and, through church planting efforts and The Urban Ministry Institute (TUMI), he is contributing toward the advancement of God’s kingdom locally in New Jersey, regionally in the Northeast, and globally.

Barry and Lesa Miller met at Lancaster Bible College in the spring of 1990 and both had a desire to work with children overseas. They first heard about the ministry of The Children’s Haven while on a prayer retreat with LBC in the fall of 1993, and knew that was where God wanted them. Paradise BFC, their home church, sent them to visit in March of 1995, and after their visit they began to plan and raise support to move overseas. Although they were only able to raise 33 percent support, they got a call on a Monday in late November that there was an emergency and they were needed right away. They called some people and BFC churches to let them know of the need, and by Friday they were at 100 percent support. Through this experience, they knew for sure that is where God wanted them. They left for Morocco on January 30, 1996 with their 12-year-old daughter Heather, and spent the first three months living with a Moroccan family in Fes and going to language school. After language school, their first six children, five boys and one girl, all between the ages of 3 and 5, were placed with them. Over the years, their family grew to 19 – 12 boys and 5 girls. For each child They took in, they made an 18 to 20 year commitment to raise that child – through their completion of high school. After 25 years of serving at The Children’s Haven, they returned to the US on July 6 and have settled in Bernville, PA.

Joseph & Thana Moussa were both born in Syria, did ministry in Damascus, and are now ministering in the United States by helping to establish Arabic language churches in York, Harrisburg, and the Lehigh Valley.  New immigrant families arrive every week in the Lehigh Valley from Syria, Lebanon, Kuwait, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Iran, Palestine, Tunisia, Morocco, and Egypt. Joseph and Thana are working to provide churches where they feel at home and can understand the message taught in their own language.  Joseph and Thana are working with the Board of Missions of the Bible Fellowship Church and the International Neighborhood Network.

Rev. David Henry began his ministry by pastoring a church in Warminster, PA for 11 years before moving to the Lehigh Valley. He is now the Local Coordinator of Child Evangelism Fellowship of the Greater Lehigh Valley, where he serves with his wife, Lisa, who is a fellow staff member. As Local Coordinator, he oversees all of the CEF ministries in the Greater Lehigh Valley. He is involved in recruiting, training, and supporting close to 150 volunteers who serve in over 30 Good News clubs throughout the school year. Over the summer, Dave is involved in running CEF 5 Day Clubs, Vacation Bible Schools and camps. He and Lisa have been married 21 years and have three children.

Nelson Randolph joined the Bible Fellowship Board of Missions in 2004 as the Short-Term Mission Trip Coordinator. His responsibility is to support short-term mission trips within the denomination. Nelson and his wife, Robyn, have been going on short-term mission trips since the summer of 1999, and Nelson has been on well over 100 short-term trips to over forty countries. In 2007, Nelson and Robyn began volunteering with Operation Christmas Child, a part of Samaritans Purse that helps provide humanitarian aid for the purpose of sharing the gospel to many impoverished communities around the globe. With the help of churches, schools, elder care facilities and businesses, they have filled over 250,000 shoeboxes for needy children overseas. Nelson and Robyn are members of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church in Allentown.
