Women’s Bible Study: the Wisdom of God

Our first session will now be held on January 25, 2022. (We cancelled on January 18 due to bad weather.)

Wouldn’t you love to be wise and know the God who is Wisdom himself?  This 10-week study of Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and the Song of Solomon mines the Wisdom Literature not only for wise principles for living, but also for the wise person these books point to through their drama, poetry, proverb, and song.  We’ll be using the book, “The Wisdom of God: Seeing Jesus in the Psalms and Wisdom Books,” by Nancy Guthrie. This study will meet every Tuesday in the youth room (morning), or Room 20 (evening).  Book is $13, payable at the first class.  Questions can be directed to Laura Sommons.  Please sign up online.
