Meet Our Speakers:

David Gundrum is the Director of the Bible Fellowship Church’s Church Extension Ministry. This ministry is responsible for the activities necessary to the founding of new Bible Fellowship churches. While most activity is in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey area, they actively work in adjacent states as well as a few distant areas like New Mexico and Mexico. They recruit, train and support church planters and guide the new church plants to become autonomous churches within the BFC fellowship.

Jim Head and his wife Lynne are serving with World Team and are based in Waxhaw, NC. Having previously had first hand experience as career missionaries in France, Jim & Lynne are well-acquainted with the life of a missionary. Using their talents and training, they now train, counsel, and support missionaries serving with World Team in the Caribbean and eastern region of the United States. Their vision is to see missionaries prepared and equipped with the missiological, biblical, and personal tools needed for strategic and effective cross-cultural ministry and life.

Jim MacArthur: Before becoming the Director of the Bible Fellowship Church’s Board of Missions in 2024, Jim served as Director of a camp in Suriname, was part of church-planting teams in Suriname and Southeast Asia, and was the US Director of International Missions/Christar and oversaw the renovations of their offices in Reading. He also served as Executive Pastor of New Life BFC in Oley, PA for 18 years. The BFC Board of Missions seeks to develop God’s heart for the nations within the churches of the BFC. They review missionary candidates for service under the BOM, provide missionary care, and advocate for our supported workers. The world is changing and the way missions is done must adapt if those who have never heard of Christ are to be reached with the Gospel. Their goals are to make the BOM a more strategic part of the BFC and to develop and mobilize the next generation of godly, faithful missional workers who will serve to expand God’s family globally.

Max Whylings serves as the full-time Program Director at Camp Haycock in Kintnersville, PA. Haycock provides Christ-centered camping experiences that lead individuals to Jesus Christ and train them to serve Him. Max
previously worked many years at Haycock as a volunteer and on a part-time basis, and has developed a passion for teaching young people God’s Word and introducing them to Jesus Christ. Haycock started as a camp for boys, but now offers several programs for girls as well.

John LoRusso is the Retired Pastor of Outreach and Active Elder at Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church in Allentown, PA. He has served as a Deacon, an Elder, teacher, missionary and counselor. He served in East Africa for 11 years, and was the initiator and developer of the Bible Fellowship Church denominational outreach project known as the Tanzania Project. He graduated from Cairn University with a Bachelor’s in Bible/Leadership.
