New Adult Elective: Resisting Gossip

“Mark told me that our next adult elective is on gossip. He heard that our pastors think we’re childish and talk about each other too much. But, how is it gossip if we’re just telling people the truth about others?” The truth is, gossip is subtle and can creep into all of our hearts. Scripture calls us to recognize it, confront it, and put it to death for the good of the Body of Christ. Join us for this new class on, “Resisting Gossip: Winning the War of the Wagging Tongue,” as we learn what the Bible says about gossip and receive practical tools to pursue Christlike, life-giving speech. Taught by Pastor Mike and various teachers. Meets in gym-south. (The class on Thessalonians, taught by Scott Holwick and Tom Pagliughi, will continue in gym-north.)
