VBS: An Irish Adventure Through Psalm 23

PARTICIPANTS: All kids entering grades K–6 are invited to VBS! At Emerald Crossing, children will explore Psalm 23, learn about David, and grow from worry to peace and fear to faith through the Good Shepherd—enjoying songs, games, crafts, snacks, and Bible stories along the way. Registration is FREE. Please register your child online by June 11. Walk-ins are always welcome! However, if you know your child plans to attend, please register now to help with our planning! VOLUNTEERS: We had nearly 200 children come to VBS last year, with many new to Ebenezer! This is a great opportunity for the body of Christ to come together to serve! Teens and Adults are welcome! Volunteers are needed 8:30am – 12:15pm each day of VBS, for a variety of roles (please see the list below). If you are only able to help for one day, that is fine – we have a place for you! Please register online today! Deadline is May 31 for volunteer registration, but please register ASAP to help with our planning. There is a mandatory VBS Volunteer meeting on Sunday, June 7, 12:45pm with lunch included. Questions about volunteering can be directed to Jennifer Schanely ([email protected]). • Decorations Coordinator (before VBS week)
• Decorations (before VBS week, some projects can be taken home).
• Crew Leader (Leads children to each station at VBS)
• Crew Leader Mentor (Mentor for Crew Leaders, also leads their own small group)
• Room Assistant: Bible Room
• Room Assistant: Games
• Room Assistant: Science and Crafts
• Room Leader: Snacks
• Room Assistant: Snacks
• Room Assistant: Memory Verse Room
• Childcare for Volunteer Children ages 0-3
• Worship Team/Sound/ProPresenter
• Drama Team
• Special Buddy for a child who needs one-on-one-assistance
• Photographer
• Check-In Help (Needed Mon 8:30-9:45, Tues-Fri 8:45-9:30)
• VBS Follow-Up Team (Follow-up with families who don’t have a church home)
• Prayer Team
