Women’s Fall Bible Studies

October 9, 2024 All day

Bethel Series NT

Tuesdays, September 10 – November 12, 2024
9:30 – 11:30 am  OR 6:30 – 8:30 pm

By focusing on the themes of Scripture, the 20 lessons of the New Testament Bethel Bible Series highlight the heart and character of God as we study the life of Jesus, the role of the early church, and the epistles in order to move students from a disjointed grasp of Scripture to a cohesive understanding of the ONE story of our redemption. This class can challenge and transform your faith and walk with the Lord no matter your previous Bible knowledge. So whether you’ve taken Bible classes at a college level or whether you’re brand new to the Bible, this class is for you. Although those who’ve finished the Old Testament year will find joy in discovering the continuity of the themes, previous completion of the Old Testament year of the Bethel Bible Series is NOT necessary! This is a 20-week class that is broken up into two 10 week semesters. First semester is Sept 10- Nov 12, and second semester is Jan 7-Mar 18, 2025. The morning group meets in Room 2, and the evening group meets in Room 20. Taught by Peggy Brimer. Cost is$25/semester payable at first class.  Sign up online.

Mama, You Be the Difference

Wednesdays, Oct 9 – Nov 13, 2024
6:30-8:00pm

This is a bible study for moms by moms. Using timeless truths from God’s Word, you will take a six-week journey toward parenting with intention and love in view of eternity. It does not matter whether you are a first-time mom or a mom who now has grandchildren, you will grow in your walk with God through Bible application, thought-provoking questions, and action steps to help you be the difference in your children’s – and family’s – lives.  This book, Mama You be the Difference, by Jessie Seneca, does not have the power to make you the perfect mom, but it can help you become a mom who lives with purpose. We will meet at the home of Laura Sommons in Bethlehem.  Limited to the first 8 moms. Cost of the book is $20 payable at first class. Sign up online.
