Get ready to embark on an exciting journey to a place where children can experience God in a special way. This place is Kids Crossing, where the emphasis is on kids meeting Jesus at the cross. For kids age 0 through 5th grade.
We are committed to making disciples by drawing children into the presence of God through dynamic worship, Bible lessons, and practical application. It’s our desire to partner with parents as we teach with relevant curriculum, which emphasizes both biblical content and fun!
Add this up and you’ll find Kids Crossing is…
- A time of discovery for children to explore and experience God’s great love for them
- A wonderful ministry that can meet the needs of families in the community
- An exciting place that you’ll enjoy visiting and will want to invite your neighbors, friends, and coworkers with children to visit, also.
Questions regarding any Kids Crossing Program can be directed to our Children’s Ministry Director, Jennifer Schanely (jennifer null@null aplaceforyou NULL.org) (610-868-5501).
SUNDAY MORNINGS (http://aplaceforyou NULL.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/Gospel-Project NULL.png)
Cross Time Sunday School (age 4 – grade 5) is a time of age-based discipleship. We use the Gospel Project (https://gospelproject NULL.com/) material published by LifeWay Christian Resources which provides comprehensive, chronological Bible lessons and allows all age groups to learn the same material in an age-appropriate setting. Parent resources, visual aids, and apps are also provided to enable parents to further disciple their children and learn God’s Word together as a family. Class is held 10:05 – 11:00 am.
Children’s Church (age 4 – Kindergarten, based on age as of September 1) provides a time of fellowship, Bible lessons, and fun activities for children. We use the Gospel Project worship material published by LifeWay Christian Resources, which corresponds with and compliments our children’s Sunday School lessons. Children are dismissed from the morning worship service (11:15 service) before the sermon.
Nursery Care (0-24 months, based on age as of September 1)

6:30 – 8:00 pm
Awana is a weekly program for children age 3 through grade 5. It helps churches and parents work together to develop spiritually strong children who faithfully follow Jesus Christ. The Awana program offers a unique approach for evangelizing and discipling kids through Bible memorization, hearing the teaching of God’s Word, learning to play and work together, and learning to serve Christ by serving others. Awana includes parents in much of this as they listen to their book sections at home and check them off accordingly.
Cubbies: Preschool (ages 3-5)
Sparks: Kindergarten – 2nd grade
T&T: 3rd – 5th grade

CAMPS & RETREATS
Winter Blast is a weekend retreat in January/February at Victory Valley Camp (https://www NULL.victoryvalleycamp NULL.org/). Kids can grow spiritually from age-appropriate Bible lessons and enjoy plenty of fun activities including snow tubing, wall climbing, roller skating, and much more.
Summer Camp is a week-long retreat in July/August that is held at Victory Valley (https://www NULL.victoryvalleycamp NULL.org/). Ebenezer usually runs a van to one of the 5-day Day Camps, but kids can also sign up for the 6-day overnight camp on their own. Activities include archery, swimming, ropes & challenge courses, “hocker,” Capture the Flag, hiking, crafts, and Bible lessons. Cost includes Snak Shak, Cabin Photo, and CampLive (online photo viewing and email-my-camper service).
Children are supervised by Victory Valley’s trained counselors and staff, as well as chaperones from Ebenezer BFC. Check the kids crossing calendar (http://aplaceforyou NULL.org/?page_id=1464) for this year’s dates & registration information.
