SnoGlo Youth Retreat

WHAT
SnoGlo is an exciting, spiritually challenging, all-inclusive winter retreat for our youth group (grades 6-12). Held at Pinebrook in the Pocono Mountains, the weekend consists of solid biblical teaching, worship, and activities that encourage youth to grow in their walk with the Lord and connect with other youth across the Bible Fellowship denomination. Throughout the weekend youth have the option to participate in a wide variety of events including sports tournaments, arts competitions, board games, snack shop, and more. The weekend consists of four teaching session and additional breakout sessions for youth groups to gather together for discussion and prayer.

$150/person
50% Discount for Siblings (*Must be registered at the same time to receive discount.)

LIVE TALENT COMPETITION
Submit a video (less than 5 minutes) by January 7 using the Google Form (the link will be posted soon). Talents can be anything from singing to juggling to skits to comedy sketches. TALENTS MUST BE ABLE TO BE PERFORMED ON STAGE. Talents are judged on creativity (connecting to the theme of Relentless Pursuit – Book of Jonah is a bonus), ability, and time (under 5 minutes in length).

ART COMPETITION
Artists may bring their favorite art tools; paint, chalk, pastels, etc… and enter the SnoGlo art show. We will provide the paper for you to design your art based on the theme of the weekend: Relentless Pursuit. You can work on your ideas prior to the weekend. Your artwork can also be completed ahead of time or on site at SnoGlo. All artwork must be completed by 4:30 pm on Saturday so we can get it displayed for all to enjoy.

SPEAKER
Pastor Los Morales served as the teaching pastor at The Gathering in Millersville for eight years and has transitioned to plant Christ Alone Fellowship in Lancaster. Juan Carlos studied at Metro Baltimore Seminary for a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology and is ordained as a pastor in the Bible Fellowship Church. Married to Lynette Morales and having three beautiful children, Juan Carlos seeks to glorify God through teaching, discipleship, and evangelism!

MUSICIANS: On the Way
On The Way (or OTW, as the kids say) is Cairn University’s traveling worship band. OTW travels to camps and conferences throughout the academic year and the summer to lead worship from their distinct style blend of modern hymns and contemporary worship music.

LODGING
Most rooms have two sets of bunk beds, a queen bed, and an ensuite bathroom.  Each room will have one adult chaperone. 

PACKING LIST
– optional: spending money for the snack shop & game room
– Bible & pen
– bed linens, pillows, and bath towels are provided
– warm clothing
– warm boots & extra socks
– winter coat
– bathroom items: soap, shampoo/conditioner, toothbrush/toothpaste, etc.
– optional: modest one-piece swimsuit & towel (indoor pool will be open)
