Revelation (Part 1 of 2)– EXP309
Taught by: Scott Holwick
Room: Fellowship Hall, North
No other New Testament book evokes the same fascination, produces wider divergence of interpretation, and is less understood than the book of Revelation. The Bible was intended to be understood, and Revelation is no exception.
Join us as we progress to understand the meaning behind the seals, trumpets, bowls and other symbols. But more importantly…to understand what it means for us today and to learn how this book of Revelation should make a difference in our day-to-day lives. NOTE: This class will continue as Part 2 during the 2013 Spring Semester.

Romans (Part 1 of 2) – Exp310
The Righteousness of God Revealed
Taught by: Dick Bickings
Room: Fellowship Hall, South
Romans, Paul’s magnum opus, is placed first among his thirteen epistles in the New Testament. While the four Gospels present the words and works of Jesus Christ, Romans explores the significance of His sacrificial death. Using a question-and-answer format, Paul records the most systematic presentation of doctrine in the Bible. The theme of Romans is the revelation of God’s judging and saving righteousness. God judges sin and yet at the same time extends His saving mercy through Jesus Christ.
But Romans is more than a book of theology; it is also a book of practical exhortations. The last section of Romans spurs believers to live daily lives that match what their mouths profess. The good news of Jesus Christ is more than facts to be believed; it is also a life to be lived — a life of righteousness befitting the person “justified freely by His [God’s] grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (3:24).

Case for Kids – Top223
Taught by Jason Hoy
Room: 2
Are you interested in the idea of shepherding your child’s heart? This class offers a simple and cumulative approach to the task of biblical parenting.
Are you already familiar with the shepherding principals discussed in Shepherding a Child’s Heart or Age of Opportunity? Then this series is a clear summary and reminder of why shepherding hearts is so important.
Beginning with what a family is and concluding with ways to help our children see God’s glory, brothers Tedd and Paul Tripp deal biblically and practically with the command to train children in the way they should go. They address the issues of the heart that motivate children from infancy to adulthood. They talk about a biblical under-standing of authority. They explain the principle of sowing and reaping – actions and consequences. And they emphasize the necessity of reconciliation with God through Jesus Christ.
